What happens when you go away for a week? You come back to find so many gorgeous new items at Chic Envy. Seriously….I have a shopping bag full of new finds. One from a funky designer (Jon), one from a hot LA-NYC designer (Gregory Parkinson), a Lilly Pulitzer dress that I know I will wear a hundred times, a pair of Manolo Blahniks that I had to have because they’ve been calling my name and those precious little things waited for mommy to come home to buy them! Okay, there are a few more things in my bag. I certainly didn’t buy everything. Come in to find CHANELLOUIS VUITTON, fun new designer clothes from all over the world, and a bracelet from David Yurman that I want badly but I just spent my paycheck. There is a great, leopard Henri Bendel scarf that is new and awesome.

At Chic Envy, new items come in daily. Since we are in such a multi cultural community, items come in from all over the world. Our selection gives us our chic flare and shopping here is nothing less than fun.  Chic Envy is a fabulous, kitshy, clean, and fun boutique filled with consignments that make the chic and wisest shoppers thrilled with their savings. There is a brand new champagne colored, quitled Chanel for $2900 with the cards and box! Go to Chanel and buy one for at least $800 more. That is a great savings. I would take that $800 and get a couple pair of barely used Manolo Blahniks that retail for over $600 a piece but are at Chic Envy for $295. That increases the savings.

Yes, I am giving you high-end examples. But of course! The J. Crew, Anthrolpologie, and other trendy, upscale brands are priced with awesome savings too. A new Lilly Pulitzer dress sold for $45 this week!  A piece of Tiffany jewerly sold for $250 under the current store price. A shopper purchased a large Coach Tote, several Ann Taylor tops, Kate Spade sunglasses, and J. Crew sandals for under $200! That is savvy shopping!

Lux Bohemian chic designer, Gregory Parkinson, designs his clothing with such gorgeous silk twill and tie dyed pieces. The few items of his that are at Chic Envy have received such great accolades. The lady who buys these items will surely set herself apart from the status quo.

Note that the trench above is not buttoned all the way, but it does have all of its buttons. There is also a belt with the trench. Oh So Chic!

Shoes Glorious Shoes!

Chic Envy is working on an improvement to display the selection of shoes. I wish we could make a wall unit filled with shoes and hire a shoe fairy to fly up and down bringing shoes to customers. This is much like the wine fairy in Vegas. One day, when we have an open three story boutique…who knows…this may happen, Chic Envy will have a shoe fairy. In the meantime, I need to return to Planet Reality and create a sensibile plan to make it great for you to see and shop our amazing collection of shoes for sale.

Customer: I’d love to have those Chanel boots! They are just my size.
Christina: OMG…I love them and they are brand new too!
Customer: But I cannot justify spending that much on boots.
Christina: Think about it this way….it is like a dollar a day for 13 months.
Customer: Now that you put it that way…..SOLD!

Sometimes it is a matter of justification. Sometimes we realize that we spend more money on unnecessary things throughout the day that nickle and dime us! What is great about fashion is that it is wearable art! It says so much about you and the mood you are in that day. And, it helps you stand apart from others. For that, it is worth every penny you pay for it. Shop and enjoy!
