How to Consign

All consignments MUST have a designer label intact. We specialize in chic, high-end and top-line designer clothing and accessories, Hermes ties and fine jewelry. All items must be on hangers.

Clothing: We accept fun, chic clothes as well as office and dressy attire. Twice a year, we will accept and sell evening wear. April and October. We take items seasonally that are clean, fresh, in perfect condition, and are no more than three years old. The only exceptions to this rule are Chanel, Hermes, and Pucci items in top condition... for obvious reasons... they are AMAZING and timeless!

Spring & Summer items will be accepted in February through August. Fall & Winter items will be accepted in August through January.

Shoes: We accept shoes that are new or nearly new without scuffs. Heels can be repaired easily at your local shoe repair. Please do so if needed before appointment.

Accessories: Of course we accept designer bags, belts, sunglasses, and jewelry. That is just too much fun. Bags must be true designer. No Knockoffs can be accepted. Bags must be clean and in new condition, no stains or worn spots. Sunglasses must have no scratches. Use your best judgment. If you no longer want the item because it is worn out or out of style, chances are that our customers will think the same thing.

Unacceptable Items: We will not accept items that are missing buttons, have broken snaps or zippers, have holes, nor items that are very wrinkly, stained in any way, or have an odor. Items should be recently cleaned, pressed, and on hangers. Absolutely NO big black garbage bags or laundry baskets full of clothes should be brought in at your consignment appointment.

We cannot guarantee that we will accept all items - we make choices based on our store style, what our customers want and what we already have in our inventory. We may suggest that you repair an item first.

What's In It For You: We split the proceeds with our consignors 50 - 50 once the item sells. As a consignor, you will get back 50% with no additional fees for check processing and mailing or credit card fees. Chic Envy will cover all of those expenses. An itemized list of all items we have accepted will be printed out that day. Items sold will be listed along with a check at the end of each month.

Side Note: You may not live locally but want to consign items at our boutique. Although we prefer to review the items in person, consider shipping them to us. Please contact us first as digital pictures may be required. Shipping is at your expense. Items that cannot be consigned will be donated. Contact us for more information before shipping anything.
